Reserved Special Needs Parking is on the east lawn of Tyalgum Community Hall.
The hall is wheelchair accessible. To make sure your vehicle is ccommodated, or if you need further assistance, please email the Festival office HERE prior to the Festival weekend.
HOW DO I GET TO TYALGUM ?
Tyalgum Road just east of Tyalgum village is currently being repaired following land slips triggered by the flood event in March 2022. One llane with traffic lights is currently open during construction. Additional access to Tyalgum is via Chillingham.
The approach to Chillingham from the north, or from Murwillumbah to the east, is via Numinbah Road.
From Chillingham, cross the Rous River on the Zara Road bridge. Zara Road will become Limpinwood Road.
Travel on Zara / Limpinwood Roads 11 km. Turn right on to Coolman street immediately after crossing the Perkins Bridge over the Oxley River.
The Tyalgum Community Hall is two blocks down Coolman St. on your left.
Parking is available on Coolman St. and in the paddock directly across from the General Store. Please follow the directional signs.
Public transport is not available on the Festival Weekend.
The nearest major airport is Gold Coast Airport (Coolangatta, QLD) serviced by all major airlines.
